Comment prendre soin de cette plante ?

LUMIÈRE

Beaucoup de lumière vive
Beaucoup de lumière vive et indirecte. 4 à 6 heures d’ensoleillement par jour, c’est l’idéal. Si la lumière manque, elles deviennent longues et fines.

EAU

Très peu d’eau
Arrosez peu. Laissez le terreau sécher complètement. En été, arrosez environ toutes les 1 à 2 semaines. En hiver, une fois par mois ou moins. Arrosez à la base, pas sur les feuilles.

TEMPÉRATURE

Idéalement entre 18 et 26 °C. En hiver, la température peut être plus basse, au minimum entre 8 et 10 °C, mais veillez à ce que l’environnement reste sec.

SOINS

Très facile
Coupez les feuilles mortes ou flétries à la base. Ne rempotez pas trop souvent ; tous les 2 à 3 ans suffisent. Fertilisez modérément pendant la période de croissance, d’avril à août.

Aloe vera is a hardy and elegant succulent plant, renowned for its thick, fleshy leaves, which are filled with a gel that has healing properties. This plant is not only decorative, but is also often used for skincare. Thanks to its hardy nature, it is ideal for both beginners and those who enjoy low-maintenance plants.

Light

Aloe vera loves light and prefers a sunny spot. A south- or west-facing windowsill is ideal. The more light the plant receives, the more compact and vigorous it grows.

Watering

Water sparingly. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the Aloe vera’s worst enemy and can cause root rot.

Temperature

The ideal temperature is between 15 and 25 degrees. The plant likes warmth and tolerates dry air well. Avoid temperatures below 10 degrees.

Care

Aloe vera is very easy to care for. Occasionally remove the old leaves at the base of the plant. Repotting is only necessary every two or three years. In spring and summer, add a little cactus and succulent fertiliser from time to time.
